Wow’ is the best way to start this description of St Austell’s superb stout. As black as night with an earthy Oak smoked log fire aroma. Dark malt, coffee, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate tantalise the taste buds on a journey to a surprisingly light but enduring linger. ‘Mena Dhu’ translated from traditional Cornish, means ‘Black Hill’.
